Same Person. Different Story
DEXCA started with a problem I couldn't seem to solve: Why could I get into work so easily at the office, but struggle to focus at home?
I worked in cross-border e-commerce in a hybrid setup. At the office, getting into work came naturally.
At home, it was completely different.
I lived with my family. Kids playing, the TV in the living room, and people moving around the house constantly pulled my attention away. Moreover, my bed was right next to my desk.
After twenty or thirty minutes of work, I would often reach for my phone, sit on the bed, or simply lie down.
I tried coffee, music, white noise, Pomodoro timers, and to-do lists. Some worked for a while, but none solved the question I kept coming back to:
How could I get into “it's time to work” mode at home as easily as I did at the office?
